Sustainability Manager

Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy for Ras Al Khaimah, aligning with national and international sustainability goals (global benchmarks and best practices).Develop, implement, and evaluate initiatives that support the social, environmental, cultural and economic sustainability objectives of RAK.Define clear implementation plans, performance metrics and ROI’s for each sustainability initiative.Develop ways to comprehensively track progress and engage partners at each stage of implementing sustainability initiative.Continuously monitor, assess, and update sustainability goals and objectives.Foster positive relationships between private entities and local communities.Identify ways to educate and train key internal and external stakeholders on the importance and criticality of meeting the Emirates sustainability targets.Stay up to date with relevant regulations and standards related to sustainability.Prepare comprehensive budgets associated with plans and initiatives driven by sustainability targets.Develop reports showcasing the return on investment and financial trends linked to sustainability and share with internal stakeholders on a periodic basis.What you'll need to succeedEmirati with a Family BookMinimum 3 years of experience in sustainability management or a similar role.Familiarity with relevant local and international sustainability standards and policies.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Excellent negotiator with proven skills in relationship building.Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results within budget and timeline constraints.Strong innovative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for sustainability and driving positive change.High-level of sustainability knowledge and expertise in sustainability management and reporting, environment management systems and environmental performance, occupational health along with safety management systems and performanceStrong judgment and high degree of personal ethics, integrity and accountability Disclaimer: Drjobs.ae
