Senior Consulting Engineer – CFD – United Arab EmiratesJOB SUMMARY:We invite applications for the position of Consulting Engineer with exceptional expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for combustion/ aerothermal /multiphase flow modeling. The ideal candidate will be skilled in applying CFD to real industrial applications, specifically within the Aerospace & Defence and Oil & Gas industries, using Ansys Fluent.EXPERTISE REQUIREMENT:Hands on experience in combustion models (Premixed, Partially Premixed, FGM)The candidate should possess experience in managing complex projects utilizing key Ansys tools, specifically ANSYS Fluent, Chemkin, ANSYS SpaceClaim, and Fluent Meshing.Proficiency in scripting, including User Defined Functions (UDF) in Fluent and PythonFamiliarity with multiphase models like Eulerian-Eulerian, Eulerian-Lagrangian, and VOF is a plus.Experienced in using high-performance computing (HPC) for detailed simulations.Experience with DPM, Radiation, Heat Transfer, Species transport, and other related Ansys Fluent modules is favourable.Strong proficiency in designing customized training workshops and materials addressing the industrial client requirements using Ansys Fluids Portfolio.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project execution primarily covers advanced CFD simulations, specializing in combustion/ aerothermal/ multiphase flows, to solve complex challenges in various industries.Provide comprehensive training to customers, both online and onsite, and conduct meetings to understand their requirements and project scope.Responsible for consulting cost & time estimation, proposal writing, project execution, and timely delivery of results.Demonstrate rapid learning ability for new concepts and technologies, logical problem-solving, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.Maintain strong organizational and time management skills and exhibit a “go-to person” persona for technical guidance within the CFD team.Willingness to travel up to 10%.DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:Holds a B.E./M.E./PhD in Mechanical or Chemical or Aerospace or any relevant discipline.At least 5 years of consulting experience with a solid foundation in reacting flows, multiphase flows, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methods.Engaging personality with a drive for continuous learning, strong business acumen, and professional manner during customer interactions.
