The IMEA/APAC Technical Services Lead is responsible for the consistent delivery of superior customer-facing technical services by the regional Technical Service team to customers, including Key Accounts, across the IMEA/APAC region. This includes leading the regional Technical Services Engineers in prioritising work tasks and ensuring that on-site services are resourced appropriately, all to leverage and support catalyst and service sales for JM. The role also actively provides technical service activities to support customers with all aspects of their operational and technical use of catalysts and licensed technology across the Syngas markets.

It develops and supplies high-value, specialty process technology and catalysts for chemicals and fuels processing to enable our customers to operate efficiently, profitably and sustainably. Your responsibilities:-
Management of the regional Syngas Technical Services, consisting of Technical Service Engineers located across multiple sites within the IMEA/APAC region.

Ensuring consistent implementation of the commercial strategy with the IMEA/APAC region for CT.

Delivering the financial performance for the technical services by driving customer relationships, seeking partnerships, and supporting the execution of CT sales strategy.

Responsible for technical service outputs for JM Catalyst Technologies in the region for the Syngas market area. Responsibility for site based and office based technical services across IMEA/APAC.

Development of team members knowledge and experiences across multiple business areas, ensuring that all technical service engineers are trained to the required standard both technically in the field and in EHS requirements.

Development of standards and processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the technical services team and to extract maximum value from the customer base. Ensure these standards are implemented and maintained within the regional Technical Services team.

Providing excellent technical service both proactively and in response to “emergencies" aimed at delivering long-term value for JM and the customer.

Providing advice to customers in reviews of project and investment plans for improvement of their production assets.

Building and maintaining effective partnerships with customer stakeholders in an ethical and safe manner.

Utilising customer interactions to feed technical and market information back into the business via the Performance Excellence team to enable JM to enhance product offering.

Coordinating with Service Coordination, Performance Excellence and Regional Sales Managers to ensure consistent global customer service.

Identifying and developing opportunities for the introduction of new service offers to customers in conjunction with the Performance Excellence and Service Coordination teams.

Developing opportunities for the introduction of new products to customers.

Degree most likely in a scientific/technical discipline
-
Background in catalysts, pref. within the syngas area

Detailed understanding of technical product features of the Catalyst Technology product portfolio

Significant customer services and technical support experience – 2 - 3 years
