The Centre for Career Placement & Alumni in Student Affairs is recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Placement and Internship Executive to join their team. The Placement and Internship Executive will work as part of the Centre for Career Placement & Alumni in Student Affairs, facilitating relationships with employers to increase internship and employment opportunities for UAEU students and graduates. The role will provide effective and efficient planning and delivery of university career events and will be expected to build successful working relationships with key partners both externally and within the university. Key Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to: - Enhance employer relations, attracting and retaining both national and international employers, increasing internship and employment opportunities for UAEU students and graduates - Identify employer needs and recommend recruiting options, including, but not limited to, campus recruitment, job postings, career fairs, recruitment presentations, and resume searches. - Organize on-campus employer engagement activities such as recruitment events, career fairs, employer meetings, on-campus interviews, and orientation sessions. - Plan and coordinate off-campus employer and industry site visits and job shadowing to engage students in exploring different career pathways and understanding the nature of jobs available. - Coach students one-on-one to explore, pursue, and connect with experiential, internship, and job opportunities that align with their passions, strengths, and skills. - Collaborate with colleges to identify internship placement needs and work towards expanding internship options for students. - Ensure the career management system is updated with the latest internship, job postings, and development communications for students and graduates. - Maintain an up-to-date and accurate database of current employers and placement partners and ensure periodic communication with such partners for relationship building. - Maintain updated student internship and graduate employment records to assess areas of improvement. - Maintain knowledge of national employment market trends and their potential impact on hiring university graduates. - Design and develop marketing material for employers, including website content and collaterals. - Report quarterly on employer relations activities and statistics. - Perform other appropriate duties to advance the center's and university's goals and objectives. Minimum Qualification 0-2 years of experience in career services or related work experience Preferred Qualification Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, human resource management, IT or a related discipline preferred
