Job Description

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their financial requirements and translating them into Oracle Financials solutions.
  • Configuring and customizing Oracle Financials modules based on business needs, such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Financial Reporting.
  • Conducting gap analysis to identify areas where standard Oracle Financials functionality may need to be extended or customized.
  • Participating in the design, development, and testing of Oracle Financials system enhancements, including creating functional specifications, configuring setups, and supporting data migration activities.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to the technical team in developing customizations or integrations with other systems.
  • Leading and facilitating workshops, meetings, and training sessions to gather requirements, demonstrate system capabilities, and train end-users on Oracle Financials modules.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving functional issues, investigating and documenting system defects, and proposing solutions or workarounds.
  • Performing system testing, including creating and executing test scripts, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
  • Supporting end-users by addressing their inquiries, providing system training, and assisting with system-related issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
    Staying up-to-date with Oracle Financials product updates and new features, and providing recommendations on how to leverage them to enhance business processes and system efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful implementation and support of Oracle Financials solutions.
