Job Opportunity

The Eastern African District is looking for a Strategy Representative who will be responsible to lead and execute Services Growth projects and prioritize initiatives across assigned District Dealers.

The incumbent will provide professional leadership and direction to a team of dealer facing consultants who are process experts in the areas of Strategy, Marketing, Digital, Product Support Sales and Service Operations.

What You Will Do

The successful individual and their team will be responsible for collaboration with the District, Industries, M&OS, and Dealer management teams with the intention to identify, create, and accelerate overall Services Growth and Aftermarket leadership. This is a position for an experienced individual contributor with good business acumen and strong project leadership and communications skills.

Provide leadership to help both Caterpillar and dealers understand and develop the right services and solutions to address the needs for a specific market.
Creating a profitable business model to address both customer needs and our growth opportunities.
Creating and leading cross divisional projects to improve the needed dealer capabilities.
Implementation of services growth strategy business models.
Managing the Leadership Table governance process and associated reporting
Assessing the dealer’s capabilities to deliver on the services growth areas.

Qualifications / Experience

Proven experience (8 – 10 yrs.) in change management, stakeholder management, project Management and governance. Must be proficient in English and be comfortable to travel up to 25%.

Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to strategic planning in support of the overall business plan.
Project Management: Knowledge and experience of managing large, complex projects, and the ability to use organizational strategies, practices, and tools for managing projects.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting: Ability to create positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders, including building and maintaining the relationship with the relevant stakeholders through appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives.
C hange Management : drive change to support CAT & dealer’s, managing and controlling the resistance to change across all the stakeholder groups.
8 – 10 yrs. working with the dealers with growing responsibilities on capability building.
