Lead Coach

Aim : To support the growth of the Wellington Performance Football Centre (WPFC) through strategic coordination and professional coaching. The Lead coach will EDUCATE via age-appropriate world class coaching techniques, EMPOWER critical and creative thinking in all student-athletes and instill EXCELLENCE in all aspects of development and performance both academically and athletically.

Responsibilities :

  1. Coordinate and deliver an in curricular, age-appropriate coaching programme.
  2. Work with the Head Coach and school staff to meet the aims and objectives of the programme.
  3. Support with the coordination of the games programme for all squads.
  4. Support with the coordination of termly parental engagement events.
  5. Support all communications with all stakeholders including staff, students and parents.
  6. Comply with all school policies and procedures.
  7. Engage with other partner schools to aid with the growth of the WPFC.
  8. Support with the management of domestic and international tours.
  9. Support all social media channels.
  10. Provide development opportunities for non WPFC players.
  11. Provide and review written termly reports for all WPFC players.
  12. Ensure own CPD development is active and up to date.
  13. Complete any other tasks as requested by programme Directors.

Responsibilities to IJF Academy :

  1. Lead and deliver on the IJF Squad Programme in line with the IJF philosophy.
  2. Lead on all communications with all stakeholders including staff, players, parents and third-party partners.
  3. Work with IJF management to meet the aims and objectives of the squad programme.
  4. Comply with all IJF policies and procedures.
  5. Provide and review written termly reports for all IJF Squad players.
  6. Complete any other tasks as requested by IJF management.

Reports to :Head of Football Operations and Technical Director

Qualifications :FA Level 2 (working towards UEFA B License), FA Youth Award

Working Hours :48 Hours across 6 days per week.

Salary :Competitive
