  • As a Bar Supervisor, you will supervise the bar service to offer a high quality, efficient beverage service that adds to a superior Guest experience and is in accordance with licensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • To be responsible for the efficient and profitable day-to-day running of the bar operations, and manage the beverage section.

  • To be responsible for the ordering and control of all beverage stocks.

  • To carry out the correct administrative procedures with regard to the orders, deliveries, and accounting for bar stocks.

  • To supervise all bar colleagues, monitor performance, and ensure that colleagues at all times deliver high-quality service to the guest.

  • To serve behind the bar as necessary.

  • To assist external stock takers in the performance of their duties.

  • To ensure that cellars are maintained to the highest standards in order to provide the guest with a high-quality product.

  • To arrange appropriate staffing of the bars to meet the requirements of the service and in accordance with the instructions of the F&B Manager.

  • To work flexible hours to meet the requirements of their service and to cover special functions.

  • To ensure that the bar operations comply with all statutory requirements including Health & Safety, Licensing, and Food & Hygiene regulations.

  • To ensure that the service is provided to the highest standards possible.

  • To work in a manner, which encourages teamwork to attain targets as a matter of priority and provide appropriate products, services, and information.

  • Meet all needs and requests of guests within specified time frames.

  • Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service.

  • Offer assistance to colleagues when required, to ensure designated work goals are met.

  • Demonstrate trust, support, and respect towards team members in day-to-day work activities.

  • Conduct communication with guests and colleagues in a polite, professional, and friendly manner.

  • Practice high standards of professional presentation in accordance with grooming and presentation standards.

  • To assist team members, supervisors, and managers when required.

  • Works with the superior in the preparation and management of the department’s budget and is aware of financial targets.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in managing the floor in an upscale Bar.
  • Strong knowledge about different types of Alcoholic beverages, wines etc. would be a key factor during the selection process.
  • Technical education in Hospitality management or service methods would be an advantage.
  • Possess verbal and written proficiency in English - Arabic would be an added advantage.
  • An ability to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have a strong drive for results.
  • Dynamic in nature.
  • Accountable and resilient

Salary : AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
