What You'll Be Doing
As VP of Supply Planning you will be responsible for re-designing, transforming and leading our Upstream Supply chain organization across the group . You will work closely with the COO to co-build our End to End Operations Strategy, not only for Upstream, but for the whole Operations Organization.
Key Accountabilities
  • Develop the E2E Upstream Supply Chain strategy for the group.
  • Drive the strategy and execution of Chalhoub's Inventory in collaboration with commercial and Finance
  • Architecting all the system developments and technology required for our Upstream SC transformation in the context of ERP change and Planning systems adoption during the next years
  • To build our Upstream SC Operating model in consensus with the key stake holders (Commercial, Finance, Legal, Tech, Etc)
  • Design, align and build a proper S&OP process in collaboration with Finance and Commercial
  • Design, align and manage our Upstream SC Score card with internal companies (MCs) and with external partners (JVs)
  • Co-develop the strategy for Network optimization using LEAN / VSM methodology in order to improve ISA, reduce Time to market and improve Work in Capital
  • To review, re-negotiate and maintain group incoterms, Payment terms and critical Path adoption in collaboration with Finance and Commercial as part of WIC optimization
  • To design, build and manage the new Replenishment and allocation SOPs and operations, including system / tools as part of the new 'Hub to Store' strategy
  • To manage a team of approx. 200 professionals in different countries in charge of Planning, Order Management, Kaizen, etc
  • Build and execute strategies on how to handle and execute high seasonal spikes such as Cyber week / Ramadan / etc
  • Responsible for managing the entire order cycle management, including critical Path(s)
  • Executor of all the and Order Management Planning systems, including Master Data Mgt.
  • Develop strategies for Inventory stock optimization while keeping high ISA %s
  • To build, align and manage Planogram Operations across all our Stores in collaboration with Commercial, Visual merchandising, etc.
  • To build, align and manage the group's inventory strategy across channels (Mainlane, Outlet, Travel Retail, Reverse logistics, Distribution, B2B, B2B2C, etc) in collaboration with key stake holders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to re design and implement Reverse logistics flows.
  • Utilize data analytics for decision taken process
  • Implement inventory management strategies that balance stock and AI algorithms to support Demand planning in collaboration with Commercial.
  • To partner with the Supply Chain organisations from our vendors, brands and JVs to ensure Critical path and SOPs collaboration and synchronisation
  • Ensure that inventory rebalancing is performed efficiently and in alignment with the overall omni-channel strategy with special focus on improving ISA, OTIF and NPS
  • To become the 'ambassador' of Chalhoub Operations community for Upstream supply chain in all internal and external forums
  • To operate using LEAN / KAIZEN methodology across the whole organisation
  • Design, align and execute critical Planning areas such as S&OP, PP, DP, Forecasting, Supply planning, WIC, Allocation, Replenishment, Exit channel, etc. Using clear industry standard SOPs
  • To Co-design with COO and to Own our E2E Ops. Strategy
What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Extensive SE2E Supply Chain Background: Significant experience (ideally 15+ years) in progressively senior roles within supply chain management, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Leadership and Executive Experience: Substantial experience ( 5+ years) in executive or senior leadership positions, overseeing supply chain functions or related areas, exhibiting strong leadership skills and strategic vision.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, driving innovation, and achieving operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience in collaborating effectively with various departments such as operations, finance, sales, marketing, and IT to ensure alignment and integration across the organization.
  • Change Management and Transformation Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large-scale supply chain transformations, implementing process improvements, and adapting to dynamic market conditions.
  • Technology and systems Skills. Familiarity with leveraging technology, data analytics, and automation tools to enhance supply chain visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, present complex supply chain strategies and insights, and influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with special focus on LEAN / Kaizen
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to drive business growth.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to manage change, prioritize tasks, and promote teamwork, excellence, authenticity, accountability, and integrity within the organization.
