Your responsibilities
Responsible for creating, planning, and implementing the marketing and sales mission, vision and strategy, along with the budget and efficiency targets for the assigned area. Leading the definition of the assigned division and area footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model) Overseeing the assigned teams that identify, monitor, and maintain or exceed the sales market price levels and evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team. Defining key marketing and sales targets (e.g., volume, prices, portfolio mix) and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor the performance. Anticipating results and identifying gaps in performance, proactively, to take early remedial action and ensuring that the targets are achieved in the global markets and driving the growth of the top line in each market. Responsible for achieving the assigned order intake, margin, and related objectives for the assigned product portfolio, globally. Driving the evaluation of potential new and existing markets and their needs and ensuring proactive sales approach with a focus on solutions. Overseeing the market trends, competitive analysis, and market segment definition activities ensuring that the market is well monitored by developing efficient marketing and sales tools and their effective maintenance and usage. Responsible for planning and implementing customer surveys and analyzing and acting on the results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. Supporting the sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets. Defining the systems monitoring clientsâ financial status and anticipating and reporting the changes in typical risk factors to relevant internal partner teams, globally. Ensuring that the relevant processes are established proactively identifying and managing risks related to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels. Developing, implementing, and reviewing sales processes, related tools, and all relevant training and development plans, actions, and programs. Ensuring all staff (under scope) understand ABBâs core values and group safety and integrity standards and act accordingly. Implementing and ensuring compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area. Ensuring adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the teams in scope. Ensuring integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope. Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.
Your background
Bachelorâs degree in electrical or computer science engineering Minimum 15+yearsâ experience with proven track record of delivering profitable growth and developing and executing sales and marketing strategy across a diverse region. Experience in using sales tools like Salesforce and external market data to drive performance, orchestrating global, regional, and local teams to achieve optimal results. Proven track record of attracting and developing talent, empowering, and driving accountability (people leader). Experience working in diverse cultural environments and leading teams with cultural differences. Experience in the energy sector is essential and in selling automation systems will be strong advantage. Excellent communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
