Description
A delivery platform with a high frequency essential use-case, millions of transactions and a large and growing regional ecosystem of customers, merchants and riders offers tremendous opportunities to embed financial services and commensurate challenges to conquer. Looking for a thoughtful, committed individual to support this effort in a role that can offer a wide scope across strategy and operations within our fintech team. The strategy & operations manager will work closely with the head of fintech at talabat in driving and executing the company’s fintech strategy.
Responsibilities
Building and optimizing talabat’s fintech strategy in the MENA regionAct as the key resource to manage strategy-to-execution at talabatSupport in P&L management for the fintech verticalLeading and executing new projects, ranging from evaluating options from execution & commercial viability standpoint to supporting rollouts in collaboration with cross functional teamsEvaluating internal and/or external opportunities in line with our strategy, and project managing executionWorking closely with key stakeholders within talabat and Delivery HeroManaging strategic external partnerships for fintech
Qualifications
5+ years experience in Strategy, Partnerships, Consulting or Operations roles at a tech, e-commerce or fintech companyUnderstanding of fintech stream preferred, or ability to quickly adapt to complex conceptsSolution oriented with a high sense of ownership and urgencyCollaborative and open, with experience working with cross functional stakeholders such as product, legal, marketing,fraud and other business verticalsExcellent presentation and project management skillsSolid interpersonal and communication skillsQuick learner and ability to size opportunities both from execution and business impact perspectiveAbility to convert large complex challenges into an executable step by step approachBaseline knowledge of the fintech industryStrong people and team management skills
