Job Description

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and software, including operating systems, productivity tools, and specialized software.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, including network connectivity problems.
  • Responding to support tickets or user inquiries in a timely manner and documenting all support activities.
  • Assisting with the setup and configuration of user accounts, email accounts, and network access permissions.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborating with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of technology refresh cycles and equipment upgrades.
  • Providing end-user training and guidance on using computer systems and software applications effectively.
  • Maintaining an inventory of hardware and software assets and tracking their deployment and usage.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and industry best practices in desktop support.
  • Adhering to IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Participating in IT projects and initiatives as required.
  • Supporting audiovisual equipment and conference room technologies.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of desktop support processes and procedures.
