Job Description For Marketing & Communications Manager(HOZ5524) in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates United Arab Emirates UAE.Position: Marketing & Communications ManagerDepartment/Club: Marketing & Communications Dubai GolfJob Summary:To effectively manage the Dubai Golf Marketing & Communications department. Responsible for all internal and external communications branding and promotions including media liaison. Management of the Marketing function through taking a lead role in developing and managing service based partnerships and business relationships with commercial golf and related businesses for the benefit of the companys strategic aims. Ensuring that a strategic approach is taken to marketing and business development analyzing current market trends and advising the Senior Management on future revenue generating and improvement opportunities.General SkillsAbility to follow the organisations vision mission values and direction.Ability to understand performance measures and feedback to maintain improvement.Ability to manage:Budget & Revenue ObjectivesCustomer Satisfaction ObjectivesStrategic Marketing & Communications ObjectivesPrincipal AccountabilitiesPrepare and manage the company sales and marketing budget and plan working across both clubs to maximize revenue potential and market share both locally and internationally benchmarking against the competition where necessary.Development of the marketing business development strategies and plans closely working with internal stakeholders to ensure that strategies are consistent with departmental objectives.Responsibility for sponsorship strategy and activity throughout the two clubs including liaison with internal stakeholders within the Golf Operations F&B and Marina departments.Management of the Marketing and Commercial teams in order to streamline activities ensure cost efficiencies and increase productivity.Develop corporate branding standards in conjunction with IHP (In house publishing) and/or an advertising agency including the design and production of all company collateral advertising and promotional materials.Manage the companys website with regular updates on the content management in coordination with relevant departments.Management of media relations for Dubai Golf including approval of all media communications providing reports on monthly media coverage.Management of the company databases including press and customers to maximize ecommunications and CRM.Promotion of a common vision and ownership of values and strategic objectives with all external partners.OperationsWork closely alongside relevant internal departments to ensure objectives are aligned.Produce a strategic plan for each club and update at weekly management meetings.Play a key role in the development and implementation of a membership strategy across both clubs focusing on member activities and retention.Manage and organize photography for the clubs as and when required within company budgets plus communicate with all relevant departments when film/photo shoots take place around the club.FinancialManagement and control of the Marketing & PR budgets for both clubs.Staffing Training & DevelopmentEnsure that headcounts are kept within agreed budget levels and that the Human Resources department is involved at all times.Liaise with Director Human Resources to ensure recruitment job descriptions training and performance/conduct related issues are managed professionally consistently and fairly.Ensure all new employees receive an induction program and that all new and existing staff have the required skills and knowledge to carry out their duties.To deliver onandoff job training as required ensuring that all training is recorded and copies sent to the Human Resources department to be added to the training database.Quality & Related MeasuresMaintain standards as outlined within the Quality Policy document and Clubs operations Manual.Achievement of quality goals.Compliance with the statement of values. This may include periodical audits and data collections.Continuously evaluates the financial and operational performance of the department through the analysis of daily sales reports monthend accounts and members feedback and employee appraisals.Aware of Dubai Golf Mission Vision and Values.
