We are committed to developing their strengths and enabling them to make a difference to our success by helping them fulfil their potential.Job Description- Ensure and provide support in compliance of regulatory reporting requirements.- Support in regulatory reporting governance of the Bank and regulatory compliance on finance matters both at country/ emirates level.- Ensure implementation of Group policies including operational risk, financial control and local compliance requirements for finance processes.- Provide support in Group Management/ IFRS reporting.Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Accurate and timely production and submission of- UAE Central Bank returns- Local Statutory accounts- Basel reporting- Statistical surveys reporting to individual emirates statistics department2. Provide advisory support to business and other functions on regulatory reporting compliance.3. Manage the process of regulatory audits, assessments and internal/ external audits in relation to regulatory reporting etc.4. Review PPGs for accounting treatment of new products as well as for existing product renewals in accordance with Group Accounting policies and also for regulatory reporting/ implication.5. Responsibility for monthly Financial Control System balance substantiation process.6. Ensure that Finance function is in compliance with Financial Control Policy (FCP)7. Actively contribute in Finance projects from accounting, compliance and controls aspect.8. Provi Standard Chartered Bank started in 1958 in UAE with its first branch in Sharjah.
