Tax Analyst

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of tax returns for filing with the BIR including the required attachments for submission {e.g. Monthly Alphalist of Payees (MAP), Quarterly Alphalist, (QAP), Summary Alphalist of Withholding Taxes (SAWT), Summary List of Sales (SLS), Summary List of Purchases (SLP), Alphalist of Payees, Alphalist of Employees}
  • Preparation of monthly income tax estimates
  • Maintenance of tax records, books of accounts, reports and other related materials
  • Preparation of documentary requirements and payment of local business taxes
  • Preparation of related reports for government agencies as compliance on statutory requirements
  • Preparation of documents neededfor CWT refundfiling with the BIR and Court of Tax Appeals (CTA

Skills, competencies and qualifications:

  • University/ college degreein Finance with strong academic record
  • 1 to 2 years work experience in an audit firm with at least 1 year handling Philippine taxes
  • Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)
  • Strong attention to details and can work under pressure
  • Prior experience liaising with the BIR and local government units would be an advantage
