1. Overview and Objectives of the Position:

Lecturers at Murdoch University Dubai are responsible for delivering high-quality education to a diverse cohort of students. Responsibilities will include delivery of International and Transnational Crimes to UG level students, marking of assignments, and supporting students in their work. To effectively deliver the unit, you should prepare adequately and not handle more than one extra unit during the same teaching period. You must also assess student work promptly, providing timely feedback and moderation. Join us in delivering quality education and support to students.

2. Key Result Areas:

Teaching and learning:

  • Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, and workshops and conduct student assessments.
  • Participate in moderation processes with the home campus Unit Coordinator.
  • Maintain knowledge of current pedagogical practice and learning theories.
3. Qualifications and Selection Criteria Essential:
  • Tertiary qualifications at the postgraduate level in a relevant discipline area, PhD strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in the delivery of high-quality teaching at tertiary education level.
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to the development of scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students in learning activities.
  • Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills.
