1- Pharmacist Job: Full Time Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Description: Carries out functions of planning, selecting, procuring, storing, distribution, preparing, dispensing, administering, documenting and monitoring of medical therapies in the hospital. Job Responsibilities:
The Supervisor makes periodic checks and is available for advice on more difficult problems but basically the Pharmacist works independently, and is held responsible legally for failure to exercise due care in the preparing , compounding and dispensation of pharmaceuticals. Incumbent may perform on shift and is expected to be on call for emergencies as required. Provides work direction for Assistant Pharmacists, and related staff. Dispensing medications to patients after checking and counseling. Verify doctor’s order by performing prescription appropriateness and Calling physicians to clarify a prescription when in doubt. Answering all patients’ questions. Compounding medications or supervising its preparations, under aseptic environment. Supervising all pharmacy employee and trainee.
Job Requirements:
Successfully completed and holds an accredited recognized BSc. in Pharmacy. Holds a current and valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in home country. Must have HAAD License to practice. 2 years’ Experience in acute care facility
