Arabic Senior Legal Counsel construction disputes

Our in-house client seeks a Mid-level to senior legal counsel to provide legal advice on dispute resolution matters and to manage all claims and litigation for the company.
Advise either as a claimant or a defendant in cases. Investigate the details of a case and advise on whether to file a lawsuit on the company's behalf or gather evidence to defend against a lawsuit. Interview witnesses, experts and other parties, read and prepare depositions, analyse any pertinent information on disputes. Working with team members to prepare comprehensive briefs. Preparing all documents required to file cases, including briefs and court documents. Researching case law, statutes and statutory interpretation. Maintaining accurate case files, notes and reports. Negotiating cases. Managing external counsel. Assist with non-contentious matters.

Must have the following:
Experience with a leading international law firm on contentious matters Ability to manage casefiles, claims and litigation Experience of Dubai Courts, LAD, Rent Dispute Settlement Centre Advocacy skills an advantage Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent planning and organising skills Excellent time and stress management skills Fluent in English and Arabic (verbal and written)
