Compliance Manager

Leading regional bank seeks Compliance Manager for their Risk Management GroupReporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will work as a member of the Compliance team in a stand-alone position, managing all matters relating to adherence to the Central Bank’s policies, procedures, rules and regulationsAccountabilities will include:Provide oversight, control, support and coordination for all compliance processes at the BankLiaise with relevant external bodies and regulators (particularly the Central Bank) on compliance mattersPlan and facilitate learning and development sessions on Compliance related mattersDevelop, implement and execute a risk based compliance monitoring programmeMaintain departmental procedures and files, working with other team members to ensure that written procedures are properly kept up to dateAssist members of the department in compliance, AML, matters in a pro-active manner
Arabic - Fluent / Excellent
English - Fluent / Excellent Own a CarAnyHave Driving LicenseAny Job Skills
Minimum of 3 years experience in a banking compliance function working as part of a teamA clear understanding of CB UAE Conduct of Business Rules and RegulationsA clear understanding of retail banking and branch network processesSelf-starter who can work on their own with minimal direct supervisionKeen attention to detailAbility to effectively communicate in English and Arabic
