This is the perfect role for a highly organized individual who knows how to manage operations and communications processes and is interested in being fully immersed in the world of startups and venture capital. You will work on all aspects of the programs, but your main focus areas will be planning/execution for in-person and online programs, as well as communications/sales. Relationship management is an important part of the position as you will be the face of 500 and the Education Team to applicants, participants, and other key stakeholders. You will report to the Education Director, Operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Building and managing relationships with potential candidates interested in our programs, providing unparalleled customer service and converting them into participants;
  • Recruiting, vetting, and processing all applicants for our programs through application reviews, interviews, reference checks, and more;
  • Engaging and following up with program alumni and nurturing the alumni community through messaging, events, and resource sharing;
  • Providing logistical support for all programs from planning, budgeting, to execution (online and in-person);
  • Tracking and reporting daily and weekly on status of upcoming programs;
  • Creating, implementing, and analyzing the results of pre- and post-program surveys;
  • Assisting in proposal development for new projects;
  • Additional tasks and admin as required.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience overseeing an in-house recruitment function with high volume end-to-end delivery responsibility and mentoring and leading staff
  • Proven track record of success in an international recruiting role, having had responsibility for headhunting, interviewing and hiring for both high-volume and niche positions at senior and executive level
  • Exceptional relationship-building ability, with a track record of developing trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels in a matrixed environment
  • Clear experience recruiting for large, complex and high-value projects in the international development, social impact or third sectors
  • A track record of successfully delivering initiatives in areas such as diversity and inclusion, safeguarding, due diligence, systems procurement or other corporate change management activities
