Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, maintaining records, and ensuring accuracy of financial transactions.Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.Post and reconcile journal entries, ensuring proper allocation of expenses and revenues.Verify and reconcile supplier invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.Manage and reconcile petty cash accounts, including documenting expenses and ensuring transparency.Prepare and maintain documents for VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.Utilize a working knowledge of QuickBooks for accounting tasks and reporting.Apply your knowledge of construction industry accounting practices to effectively manage financial processes.Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements, as required.Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on routine accounting tasks.Proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.Experience in the construction industry is required.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Pakistani/Indian nationals will be given first preference.
